Dots and boxes
Draw lines, close boxes, claim them with your sticker.
Player 1's turn
How to play
- Take turns tapping between two dots to draw a line.
- Close the fourth side of a box and it's yours. Then you go again.
- When every box is claimed, the player with the most boxes wins.
What's the trick to dots and boxes?
Avoid drawing the third side of a box, since that hands it to the next player. Later in the game, sometimes giving away two boxes wins you a long chain.
How many can play?
Two to four players on one screen. Pick small, medium or big boards.
What age is it for?
Usually 5 and up. A small board works for younger kids with help.
